Something's in the air

 There’s Something in the Air

It’s germs.

We’ve both caught something this last week and have been lucky to scrape together two brain cells between us. But we’re coming out the other side, cleaning the house, and even knocking a few things off our game dev list between coughing and sneezing.

Just take a look at how much has changed in the game!

                               Before After

Yeah, all the things we completed were more ‘under-the-hood’ than visually significant.

We’ve built up the sign-in system, embedded some basic analytics, started our save-game system, and added code comments!

    Sometimes, it’s the little things.

Another thing that was supposed to happen over this past weekend was what we call a “power-weekend.” This is where we set aside 48 hours to get up early, ingest way too much caffeine, and super-focus on game work- usually focused around a mini-game or large feature.

It became clear that this wasn’t going to be happening this weekend, but we’ve rescheduled for later this week AND picked a thing to focus on! We’ll share more in the next post.

Unless it flops...

Then we’ll never speak of it again.

One final thing we got done- we’re branching out socially!

Check out our pages on your favorite indie game platform, itch.io, IndieDB, or GameJolt! We’re going to be putting effort into each of these sites and hope to engage people wherever they get their game updates.

Also, if your favorite site is something different, let us know!

Short post this time. We’re still disinfecting our keyboards and taking many naps.
