Countdown to Demo

Ahoy Sky-Pirates!

We (Russ mostly) have been working whenever we have a few minutes to spare, and are happy to announce that the demo is just waiting for Steam to allow its launch!

The demo will cover going out and hunting NPC ships, which you will need to hit with cannons, then complete the boarding as a crew before winning the battle. Destroy as many as you can before returning to port! There are bots available, but they are not very good, and we strongly advise bringing a friend or two, and not just for our engagement numbers 😉

In addition, if you haven't seen it already, the mobile app has had an upgrade with the Boarding and Navigation puzzles! All the prior puzzles have also gotten a bit of polish, something we will keep doing as we go. Give them a try and let us know what you think of them.

The demo should become available in about two weeks. We will announce when we have a specific date, of course! But to be the first to jump aboard, just make sure to wishlist and follow via the link below!

Now looking towards the future, we have the following road map.

Firstly, we will be taking all the bug reports, comments, and participation data from the weeks following the demo launch and making any necessary changes so it presents well.

Next, we will make another pitch to publishers. There are a great number of companies that will not even take applications without a demo or slice. We want that sweet developer plunder!

During this time we'll be taking a step back and doing some side quests. We have an idea to bring an old game back to life for some fun. More details on that when we get there. This will probably be a couple of months. Though if we get some amazing reviews (hint hint) AND developers throw us a pile of cash, we can get right back to it.

Part of me wonders how good the wifi is there...
