On the road again
On the road again
Its been a busy time at RXR games! We are now traveling across the country so we're away from home, office, and emotional support cat. Still, we have news and upcoming events to share!
First, if you haven't heard, we've put out our first two puzzle games on both Apple and Google play stores! Both Hydronautics and Windcatcher are available now.
We've been getting a lot of good feedback to help us direct the updates and refinements as well so a big thank you to everyone who has sent us some either on the form or our Discord.

Remember that these are just stepping stones to the big game. We want the puzzles to be enjoyable and reliable when we get to that point! So give ‘em a go and then let us know what you think.
Our next one should be Battledeck, the cannon loading puzzle. We've made several changes but the core is similar. One of our struggles has been screen space and visibility. It's all fine and well on my massive computer screen, but once it hits the small screen things get packed in too tightly. So we're working on making it clearer and more functional. Also the art hasn't been updated for a long time and I'm going over that again to bring more life and detail to it.
Following that are the repair puzzles, Carpentry and Joinery. Both are progressing well. Carpenty will be closer to the one you've all played before, where perfection is more important than speed. But Joinery will have a bigger focus on combos and speed, for those like me who cannot for the life of them summon the one most common piece in the game when I need it!
We've also submitted a side project to and been accepted by the Open Sauce event in San Francisco! We'll be headed there for a long weekend in mid July, which also means we'll be having to dive hard at that project to have it show-ready by that time.
Speaking of big events; we're going back to PAX West! The event that really took this love project from hobby to profession. We won't have a booth this time, but we will be dressed up, and demoing our wares as it were! We're hoping to have 3D prints of our badges to give away for people who play. Ideally we'd have some advanced badges to hand out if someone gets to a high enough ranking. However that might be dependent upon a ranking system being created!
